Can anyone tell me how I can get the crop tool overlay to appear again? Something has changed either due to an update or I have inadvertantly togled some setting. Previously when slected the crop tool by hitting the 'C' key on the keyboard I would immediately get the crop tool overlay set to my last used crop setting.  No longer getting that pverlay.

Thanks,

Have you checked if the Crop tool options are set the way you want? In the options bar when the Crop tool is selected, several options control the visibility of the cropped area, as shown in the demo below. If one of them did get changed and you don’t remember changing it, note that the first two options in the gear menu can be changed by a single-key shortcut, so if one of those keys was pressed while the Crop tool was active, that option might have gotten changed by accident.

After you select the Crop Tool, if you click in the document area, does the Overlay appear?

Thank you Conrad for making that little video, that is where the issue was. The Crop tool was set to classic mode.
