Cropping a layer in gif

Hey there:)

I want to creat a gif consisting of around 6 images. The issue is that part of the images were cropped 4x5 and part 2x3. How can I crop only one of the images inside that gif and leave the other ones as they are? If I press "C" to crop, it crops each image...

If I dont crop the 4x5 images it shows grey zone in the gif...

Thanks

Cropping crops the entire document — that's how the Crop tool works. If you have images on separate layers in the same document, try this:

  • Select the layer in the Layers panel
  • Cmd+T (or Edit > Free Transform) > Scale the one image on the one layer. Look in the options bar at the Width and Height controls and confirm they are identical, then accept the transformation.

If you want to trim edges on just one layer, you can apply a rectangular pixel or vector mask to that layer. This will hide edges without scaling the layer.
