Cropping

I'm working on a project and I was wondering if it is possible to extend part of an image outside of the crop but the rest of the image stays cropped the same

You may have to explain what you mean with meaningful screenshots.

Hi,

Double click on the background Layer so it becomes editable, Then rename it if you wish.

Duplicate the Layer, so you have a back up.

Next, hit V for the Move tool and click and drag to increase the image to you desired size and hit enter.

Increase the canvas size and make sure that you have transparency.
