When using the horizontal text tool to enlarge the text box the text disappears.

There is nothing blocking it it is the front layer, when i shrink it back the text reappears.

Anyone know how to fix this?

The text box in one case is smaller then the text inside wanted to enlarge it to center text in a area.

I tried reaching out to Adobe but CS5 is no longer supported.

When i use the CTRL + T and make the text box bigger the text disappears.

when i use control it changes the size of the text.  I just wanted a larger text box.

I would just start typing using any size fonts and then Press CTRL+T to get something like this:

You then get something like this:

You have full control over the size of the text.  Me thinks so anyway.

How exactly are you trying to resize the text?  there are many ways of doing it but you'll find that using Free transform will give you better control over the text.  To do that, activate your text layer and then press CTRL+T.  Now drag the controls (the controls at the corner of the rectangle) while pressing the Shift key to maintain the perspective.

    Good luck.
