Use the complete Adobe suite CS5 on desktop Win10. Wanted to try Photoshop CC2023 and installed it as a trial. After a few days, both CS5 and CC2023 stopped working. Got the message that Adobe Installation Manager had detected an error. What is the cause and what to do??

I've moved your post to Photoshop from Using the Community. Can you post the error message?

Are you on macOS or Windows? Which version?

I tried it again several times with the result that CC 2023 worked but all the CS5 application did not work getting the message: "Adobe Application manager is required to resolve this issue. This program may be missing or damaged. Download a new copy of the Adobe Application Manager from Adobe.com, or reinstall the product." I had to reinstall the c: drive with the latest backup to get my Adobe CS5 suite working.
