CS6 and Skyfonts? Uninstalled skyfonts and now I can't save as a jpeg

I get "File must be saved as a copy with this selection" with anything other than a psd. Comprehensive uninstall, reboots all over the place - it does this with even a single character on a new image on a clean install (recents gone, settings gone, cleaner tool used, manual cleanup of anything left). Virus check run...

It seems too coincidental that I uninstalled skyfonts whilst using cs6.

I am so reliant on this at the moment, I so hope that someone can help!
