Question

cs6 changes creation date

From on day to the next, saving a PSD file, CS6 always changes the time created from that of the original raw file to the same time for every file.  This makes it difficult to link to the original raw file.  I tried reinstalling CS6 to no avail

I wonder if using the free DNG Converter might provide an alternative route.

But as Nancy_OShea pointed out Photoshop CS6 is obsolete software and even if this was a bug (and not a »local malfunction« or some such) it would not be addressed by Adobe.

CS6 is discontinued software, no longer sold, supported or updated.  It is what it is, which is 8 years out of date.

On my Win10 machine, I can view files in Windows File Explorer by Date, Date Created, Date Modified or Date Taken.
