Ctrl + I

Today I made a Vibrance adjustment on a image and pressed ctrl+I to paint on the adjustment (like I've done the last 5-6 years using photoshop) but nothing happens. Instead I have to use eraser tool to "paint" on the adjustment.

Have I fiddled with a setting or what is going on...

Help would be very much appriciated.

Are you attempting to invert the Vibrance adjustment layer mask to black and then paint white on the mask to allow for selective adjustments?

    Hi @JohanJi
Did you recently change your keyboard or computer language by any chance? The shortcut Ctrl + I usually inverts the color of the image. If you want a hotkey to paint with the brush tool you can press B. If you want to edit shortcuts you can go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts

Let me know if this helps!

Hi and thanks for the reply! The issue is not to choose brush (b). The
issue is that before today I could make a vibrance adjustment layer, fx
drag up vibrance and then by ctrl+I be able to paint the adjustment using
brushtool on image. Not sure If im explaining It in a comprehensive way.
I've done this 1000 of times before. But today the brush dont output the
    vibrance adjustment.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
