I have a problem with CTRL-N. Eaxmeple
I create anew picture 300x500 px
While working, from another picture, I take a section of it, lets say 100x150 px, CTRL-C
Then, I do CTRL-N. The image size I get is not 100x150, but rather the size of the last picture I created, so 300x500
Why this?
I am using Pgotoshop from years and years......
Thank you
Rafael

Have you tried with preference reset? What version of Photoshop is in question? I am checking using 23.3.2 and everything works fine.

I am up to date, just d/l the last one, V23.4.1, and the problem is still there
This is an example, the picture is 200x200, I made a CTRL-C, then CTRL-N and I got the size of the last picture I used, that is, a 300x300, you can see the paste is on the midle of the screen with red borders.
Thank you

You can still get a number of previous versions, AFAIK, but you can't install them in parallel (if it's no major number release) — which would finally solve everything. Funny how you can install a beta in parallel, or a new big number version, but just one extra to keep one actually working version safe *and* test one other version on the side, they can't figure out or allow... 😞

I've seen older threads about this, but didn't have the problem.
A few days ago, I had it too (Win 10, PS v23.3.1).
I had a pic of say 1500 x 1000px in the clipboard and the PS dialog correctly indicated that too, yet the document it made was the size of a previous pic...
I did paste that pic and performed Reveal All.
