Hi,
I have a list of values I'd like to format into a .cube LUT for Photoshop. Been looking at the Cube file spec here and studying LUT files generated by Photoshop and other sources, for reference, but a couple questions remain.
The values are intended for a luminosity/contrast change only. As there should be no color shifting, maybe a 3D LUT is pointless. So first question – can Photoshop even load a 1D LUT ?
If not, here's the second question. Given a series of 16384 values, from 0.000000 to 1.000000 inclusive, how many data points should be stated in a 3D .cube file?
Thanks very much.
