Currently no dialog window opens: no open window, no save window, no curves, no new document - absolutely nothing.
But the windows must be there, because with "new document" entering the return causes a new document to appear. I can start the tutorial at the start-window - that's all.
Even after a new installation nothing changes.
FYI I only have one screen.
Hi @schockpe Try resetting your Photoshop preferences manually. Note: Reinstalling does not automatically reset them so you could be installing over bad preference files:

If that does not resolve go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.
