Cursor get's stuck when using a brush

So for 3 years this issue is still happening at my High School Mac Lab, this has been asked before but never solved, can someone look into this?

If I try to use the brush in Lightroom or Photoshop, I can hover around OUTSIDE of the image. As soon as I hover OVER the image the cursor gets stuck and i can no longer move it. The effect of the brush is applied however,  I just cannot see where I'm painting.  Most of the times it works when I lower the brushsize, but there's no fixed size where it occurs.

And the same problem with Photoshop. I have a feeling there's a link between the brushsize where i can move the cursor and the resolution of the image, but I'm not sure about that.

Restarting the Macbook and/ or LR/PS does not solve the problem.

Every version of Photoshop for the last 3 years

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the trouble!

Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

Are you using a Wacom tablet or any other drawing tablet? I see you're on macOS 15.1. Could you try updating to macOS 15.7 to check if that makes a difference?

Also, check if Photoshop and Lightroom are added to Full Disk Access and Accessibility for macOS using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4nUfMeg

Thanks,
Nikunj
