Curvature Pen Tool Not On 'Pen Tool' Menu

When I bring up 'Pen Tool' menu there is no Curvature Pen Tool. When I clicked on the tool a pop up invited me to try the Curvature Pen Tool, which I did, but when I returned to the menu it was still not listed. Anyone else with this problem.
