Curves turning into weird 'steps'

Hi everyone,

So ive encountered a weird issue with Photoshop CC, whenever I attempt to draw curves using the brush tool or the eraser, the curves start stepping mid way. Ive reinstalled both Photoshop and my drivers, and I have no idea how to fix this issue. In the image it might be hard to see but it is definitely a problem.  Please help its so annoying!!!
