Custom Crop Overlay

I am using the crop tool and I was wondering if I can load my own overlay? I've bee searching the net, but not finding anything.

Is it possible, maybe with a plugin?

    There was a script posted years ago the did its own overlays Golden Crop for Photoshop - FAQ

    Any updates here? How difficult would it be to code just "custom ratio"? like cropping in 4:5, but be able to see crop for 1:1. LrC has this functionality btw.

    Sorry I have finally got to look at this and I quite like it, although I would like to be able to put my own guides/overlay, any idea how I might do this in the code?

    Had a look but the they have spent along time complying it.

    I've been playing with the script and I have managed to alter the code to give me the crop that I require I have more questions but will start a new thread, many thanks for your help
