Is the no way to recover custom patterns in PS 2022? The only things I can recover are Legacy  Preset patterns. My files are gone.  Hundreds of custom files have simply disappeared. They are not in any folder I can find. Adobe simply offers no support. For $89 a month this is the most unresponsive platform I have ever heard of.  Can anybody help with this or am I  just SOL?

Hi @deanat3G Sorry to hear about the trouble finding your patterns. When did this first happen? After updating to a new version of PS? I'm assuming you defined your custom patterns and gave them names, and/or downloaded custom patterns from third-parties and imported them. Did you do a complete search of your C drive using *".pat" to make sure they aren't in an obscure folder? Be sure to check the box that says show hidden files and make sure you have administrator privileges. If your pattern files don't show up, then they are likely gone. Unless you downloaded patterns in zip format and you can go back to those files, extract the patterns, and reimport them. Let us know what happens.

Hi, see if you can recover this file and copy it to 2022: Patterns.psp found in Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop [Previous version]\Adobe Photoshop [previous version] Settings

(to see the appdata folder make sure to show hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer)

But in the future to protect your settings, make sure to save the loaded presets to files from their respective preset panels.)
