Customize panel menu options/display

Hi

I am faced with a large editing task that requires me to repeatedly add a particular few adjustment layers to do color correction, and am trying to find ways to reduce unnecssary scrolling/clicks.

First question, is there any way to delete the adjustment layer options that come up in the layers panel when I click on the icon at the bottom?  For example, it would be really helpful if I could just have the curves option, the saturation option, and the selective color option showing so I don't have to scroll through all of them.

Second question - in the Info panel, when I use the color sampler eyedropper to check a color, is there any way to make the default option be LAB instead of RBG? Right now if I click on say 4 different areas to monitor, I have to manually go and change each display to LAB.

Can't find anything on-line. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you through about adding actions tied to keyboard shortcuts - one for each of the adjustment layer types you using frequently?

On the first question, rather than changing menus you could just record a single action to add whatever standard adjustment layers you want to use in each image.  Or if they will differ in each image, keep the adjustments panel open then one click in that panel adds the appropriate adjustment layer.

On the second question - Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to default the additional eyedroppers to Lab (only the two standard readouts which can be set in panel options).

I don't know of a way to edit the Adjustment Layer list at the bottom of the Layers Panel, but they CAN be edited from the Layer menu. What's reallly important here is that you can ADD A KEYBOARD SHORTCUT to the Curves Adjustment Layer, so you can add it that way - no mousing. A

And, when you convert your image to the Lab Color Space (Image>Mode>LAB), your info panel should give you LAB options.

Yes thanks very much! The keyboard shortcut to an action was a big help. Adobe support said no way to change the default Info panel display to LAB for subsequent color sampling points.
