Data Sets to JPG

I have almost 100 thousand images that I'll be generating using Data Sets. My Google Sheets pipeline is set and works, but Data Sets only saves out PSDs. How can I use Data Sets and save out Jpegs instead? Each PSD ends up being about 400+MB so I'll have to stop the process every so often just to batch save all the PSDs to JPEGs and delete the PSDs. A waste of time. Is there a Java script that can do the same thing that I need as the built-in Data Set app? I have tried inDesign and Illustrator for Data sets  / Data Merge but it really can't do what photoshop does the way I have my layers (about 20) set up.

From my understanding, since data sets require a variable layer change, you can't save as JPG because PS looks o save the layered file. So, generally what people do with data sets is save as PSDs and then batch convert them to a different format as needed - like what you're doing. It has the advantage of having the editable source file if required for tweaking. It does add extra inconvenience for situations where you don't need the PSD and have large files as in your case.
