I think we should just let this go. There's always someone coming in with some ancient Photoshop version, demanding all the latest goodies for free. We've all seen it before, and we will again.

The brushes are not available without a CC subscription.

    End of story. Next question.

If you don't understand what i'm asking for.  or just don't have the answer to my question this does not mean you throw me under the bus and force your opinions on me. With bullying tactics telling people i'm trying to get something for free. and that we should move on.  We need more people like gener7   thank you for your kind words and helpful suggestion.

Yet and still the bullying ensues. One mention of CS5, your considered a less creative.  Your not one of us... your not with the in crowd.  This is so childish. And yet this has nothing to do with CS5 directly.

As if D Fosse has control of what everyone else thinks are you guys going to let this guy put in your minds that I want free goodies.

I already have all Kyle's brushes from this site: Adobe Photoshop CC | Download exclusive brushes from Kyle T. Webster was able to download and install using CS5.5 except the Concept Brushes... I don't need a CC subscription all you need is a CC membership you simply sign up thats all. You can let it go all you want you don't speak for the earnest and sincere people is this forum.

this page needs to be corrected.

Where does it say on that Adobe page that the brushes will work with anything but CC ?

It does say at the top of the page  " launch the Adobe brush files (.ABR)* while Photoshop CC is running, and they'll be automatically added to your Brushes panel" but I can't see any reference to previous CS versions there.

Okay.........Where does it say on that Adobe page that the brushes won't work for anything but CC?

If I can go to that Adobe page with CS5.5 and download the other brushes and they download just fine....What does that tell you?

Why would Kyle lie about his product that Adobe acquired?

I'm not sure what you are saying. The concept brushes install fine in my version of Photoshop CC2018.

Wow………this guy………..anyway what i'm simply saying is…... Kyle brushes are made to work with CS5 and up I have CS5.5 when I download them I get this message.

Adobe needs to fix this and put the correct abr. file instead of it being for CS5 and up the file they have on this page is for CS6 and up. I need some one in position or power to get to the powers that be to honor and make the proper corrections.

    Please.

When has anyone purchased a license for a brush? you must be trying to ask a different question please try again I don't understand.

As I understand the situation Kyle T. Webster sold his Brushes to Photoshop users previoulsy, then Adobe bought them to make available for free for Photoshop CC users.

If you have not bought the license for those brushes previously or are a CC user you are not entitled to use them.

All in all you do not seem to appreciate the difference between »being able to« and »being entitled to« so you might want to read up on the concept of intellectual property.

Adobe doesn't have to be concern with CS5 they just have to honor what they offer. If they provide brushes for CS5 and up then thats what it must be. You can't offer something and then not offer it.

Adobe does not offer those brushes for Photoshop CS5 (as has been pointed out again and again) and if Mr.Webster made unclear or incorrect statements on the FAQ of his page that is irrelevant.

As far as I can tell the FAQ on kylebrush.com is the only one that might be understood to make the claim the brushes would be available for Photoshop CS5 but that page is apparently not Adobe’s property as the page is clearly marked as

    ALL CONTENT © 2017 KYLE T. WEBSTER & KYLEBRUSH.COM

    Also there is this paragraph

I’m not a Creative Cloud member but I have CS5/CS6 and I want to buy Kyle’s brushes anyway – why can’t I anymore?

The only way to access my brushes is with a Creative Cloud membership. This is a really exciting opportunity for me to provide brushes to the broad Creative Cloud community and allows me to leverage the cloud so that I can make new brushes and improvements to brushes available immediately. And as a Creative Cloud member, you benefit from added resources and updates like these brushes.

Adobe does not offer those brushes for Photoshop CS5

To whom it may concern is this guy the god of Adobe..how can he say to us what adobe has and don't have.

Adobe does not offer those brushes for Photoshop CS5 (as has been pointed out again and again)

As I stated and pointed out again and again I've already downloaded and installed all these brushes for my CS5.5 from this page   Adobe Photoshop CC | Download exclusive brushes from Kyle T. Webster with no problems except for the Concept brushes.

Yet this guy can tell me they don't offer these brushes for Photoshop CS5. does anyone hear how crazy this sounds.

If i put water in my cup he's going to tell me you can't put water in your cup. what is going on with him.

All in all you do not seem to appreciate the difference between »being able to« and »being entitled to« so you might want to read up on the concept of intellectual property.

What are you talking about.  life is simple... you say you offer something..... you must offer it.  They do offer it because I got what they offer from that page as I stated.  But when it comes to the Concept brush file its as someone made a slight mishap and put in the CS6 version over the CS5 version which they have for the rest of the brushes of that page.  just need to get the message to the powers that be to fix the issue.    Adobe are not imperfect human beings if they make a slip up , i'm just trying to get to the right people to get it

    fixed.

Your acting like I can't or haven't read all this whats taking place is as you can see I don't need a CC subscription like all these other people are saying I merely need a CC membership. again this means nothing I already downloaded and install for CS5.5 from where your saying I can't. The only issue is with that one file of brushes.

Also how do you try to make a point that this kylebrush.com is not Adobe's property but yet you keep trying to make your points by using this site to express to me, this and this about Adobe.?????
