Default embed Smart objects

Is there a way to make Smart Objects embed as the default... ?

...instead of having to remember to do it manually with Layer > Smart Objects > Embed All Linked

Did you uncheck »Add to my current Library« or how exactly did you create the SOs?

I have the option to uncheck 'Add to my current Library' when I copy/paste from Illustrator...

but not if I drag and drop...

I'm looking for a global setting where the default is 'Don't Add anything to my current library unless I say so'...

Is this possible?

Uncheck it when you have it and it should stick.

Do you mean drag/drop from the Library or the Finder or …?
