Default screen when opening multiple files from lightroom in Photoshop

Hi Group

I am new to using photoshop so apologies if this  has a really simple solution.

When uploading multiple files (eg 30 or more) from lightroom to photoshop using "edit as layers in photoshop" each layer loads correctly but then on completeing the final file upload my screen defaults to the image below:

How do I get back to the normal photoshop editing screen showing the layers that have been uploaded?

If I only upload a few files (eg 10) this doesnt hapen. Is this a memory issue for my computer or am I doing something else wrong?

Thanks

Hi @chrisg52811116 go to preferences/general and uncheck "Auto show the home screen".

Hi Kevin

Thanks for that, I think it worked. However after importing the photos to photoshop my layers panel just went blank and nothing was showing in my history. I was trying to import about 50 images soo I suspect it may be a memory issue with my computer rather than a photoshop issue.
