I can't find a way to remove unwanted photo's from photoshop. Some say image file cannot be opened because image can't be found, then they disappear, while some say that and don't disappear when I click ok. Others I just want to delete and I can't figure out how to do that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Thanks, but I couldn't find the document tab.

Right-cick on the "Filename.jpg@16.7%(RGB/8): part if you are using a document window instead of a tab.

You can't delete files in Photoshop. You need to do that  in your OS window or Bridge. "Recent files" just keeps a record of the file path. It's just a pointer.

If you move or delete a file, you won't be able to open it from the Recent list. That is what "Image can't be found" means. Once you click OK, the image is removed from the list. You have to find the file and open it again. Recent files does not allow you to delete an image in Photoshop. You can delete the file inside Photoshop via your OS Window.

Right-click on the document Tab if it is open, then choose Open in Finder o Open in Explorer

When the window opens up, you can the delete the file.
