I'm working on my photoshop textbook tutorials for class and I'm having trouble resetting to the default settings. I followed the instructions, it says to click the adobe photoshop 2021 icon in lauchpad, I pressed the commands, Ctrl+Option+Shift. But it never gives me the prompt to click yes to delete the photoshop settings file. Can you help me?😪Please...

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings.
(Mac OS only) Open the Preferences folder in the Library folder*, and drag the Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder to the Trash.

...As many people have problems with the timing, Adobe added a button in prefs:
Actually the three-button press is easier on a Mac.
First press and hold Shift-Option-Command keys (not the Control key), then launch Photoshop from the Dock.
You will then see the Delete Settings dialog in front of the splash screen.
Then you release the three keys and click Yes or No.

*To manually delete Photoshop preferences:
Quit Photoshop.
Navigate to Photoshop's Preferences folder:
MacOS: Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
Windows 10: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
Note:
The user Library folder is hidden by default on macOS. To access files in the hidden user Library folder, see How to access hidden user library files.
