Hi community.

I'm scouting the internet with no success. I'm looking for digital font (like the example I have uploaded).

The background has a 0 with a lowered opacity. And also as seen a number which is displayed. Any available fonts I can get in this style?

I have seen some websites which they give you this font, but you cannot type it, its just numbers SVG or PNGs images you can mix and match numbers, But Id like the font itself.

Whether you find the typeface or create it yourself, it is not a zero with a lower opacity. I just checked my digital clocks and none of them do this anymore, but I remember when all of them did. The faded character is actually an eight, not a zero.

I do not know what search term you have used, but try searching for "Seven Segment Font".

Hello, and thank you for your reply. I donwloaded this font, but when I type out the numbers, 1, 2, 4, & 6, dont match up with the 0 digit in the background.

I would make two text layers with the same font, one with all zeros, and one with the "displayed" digits on the layer above. Make the "zeros" layer first, then duplicate it, and edit the digits to the "displayed". Link the two layers, and reduce the opacity of the "zeros" layer.

In the early days of digital clocks, the lights needed for all of the digits were slightly visible in the background, then were lit when it was their turn. Note that in your screenshot, the zero has a faded line across it that is necessary for the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 to display.

In your second image, the one would not be centered in the zero (or eight), as a light does not exist in the center. It would be using the light on either the left or right side of the digit.

Be sure to include that horizontal light (line) if you create this yourself!

I found this on Adobe Stock. It's vector and needs to be opened in a vector application such as Illustrator.

Wow!  I didn't know that.  Call me a geeky nerd, but that's actually really quite interesting.

@Trevor.Dennis , the "fun" part was when one of the lights went out and only part of the number displayed!
