Disable Live Font Preview

I was wondering if it was possible to disable the "live preview font" option in photoshop and in illustrator. already exists in Indesign. The preview is unbearably slow. I believe in the case, it is a good idea to insert a flag that allows you to enable or disable the function. Also because every good desiger should already know the characters well;).

hello, thanks for the timely reply. I had already seen that option. I didn't mean this. I mean that when I have the text selected and I select the characters from the list, it changes the preview directly on the worksheet. I would like the font changes only when I choose which one to use. I don't know if I explained myself. thank you so much

Don't think there's a way to disable that preview that I'm aware of, you could post a feature request for each application here
