Question

Disable "Command + Delete" shortcut for Fill

I swear I've seen a way to disable this shortcut, but now I can't seem to find it! When I'm working on an image and I need to press Cmd + "+" or Cmd + ] I end up hitting Cmd + Delete and fill my entire document with my background color.

It's obviously not a huge deal beacuse I can just undo, but just annoying, and I never use the shortcut to Fill anyway.

Anyone know how to disable this shortcut? I can't find it in the Keyboard Shortcut dialog! The only one I see for fill is Shift + F5.

Thanks in advance!

Many shortcuts can not be disabled or changed.  Get a desktop keyboard for you laptop.  add space between +] and Delete

Thanks for the response!

That's interesting... I swear I had seen a way to disable this at one point... I remember distinctly that I decided not to because I thought I might start using it. Hmm.

As far as the desktop keyboard suggestion, thanks for it - but, unfortunately 1) I am often mobile with my laptop and therefore it's hard to bring around a keyboard and 2) it completely messes up my workflow in my hands, as I have built-in responses jumping back and forth between my trackpad and my keyboard. It would render me a Photoshop invalid 😂
