distort and perspective tools not working on smart object?

I am pretty sure that I used these tools for other smart objects I imported, but does anyone know why they might be greyed out?

On Windows everything is working well. Perhaps because you are on Mac? What is Ps and OS version?

Can you use keyboard shortcut Opt + Cmd + Shift?

Vector Smart Object! 

You can convert the Vector Smart Object to a Smart Object and then apply Warp etc.
