HI there,

Does anyone know what version of the DNG converter will work with OS 10.1 and Photoshop CS5.1?

I found a database of old versions, but before downloading a whole bunch, I thought I would ask if anyone knew first. Thank you so much!

If your nikon is too new to be supported by the 10.5 dng converter, there a couple of third party open source applications that still work on El Capitan, yet open the latest camera raw files and will at least let you view your files and edit them if you want.

This is a guide to using the DNG Converter. If you have CS5, you may have to set it to 6.6 because that's the version of Camera raw cs5 runs.

Actually no dng converter works on 10.1 and 6.4 (cs5) only goes down to 10.4  Are you sure it's 10.1?

yes, it is actually 10.11.6

I"m travelling and have my old laptop, with old OS and software. Unfortunately the Nikon I use now is newer that the one I was able to use on this system, and now I am unable to open my RAW files on it. Even the Nikon tool doesn't seem to want to install (even though it says it will run on as old as Mac OS X version 10.8.5

I hesitate to update the OS as its an old machine.. and then nothing else will run.

I guess I am stuck. It's hard to keep up with technology requirements....
