Does Anyone here Use Figma?

I feel like I am the last Adobe app user in the world to hear about Figma, and now Adobe have bought it for $20 billion!  I am not interested in Web Design, but it sounds like it has some useful tools, and is way faster than Photoshop.   At the moment, it's free for single users.  I have not tried it yet, but if you earn your living using Adobe apps, I'm thinking you'll need to check Figma out.

You can try Adobe XD as part of your CC membership. XD is similar to Figma, but Adobe app users will be more familiar with the tools and interface.

The online video training company "Bring Your Own Laptop" have excellent Essentials tutorials on both Figma and XD and are preparing an Advance Figma course: https://bringyourownlaptop.com/

I don't see XD or Figma in competition with Photoshop as they are used for producing fully interactive and responsive prototypes and mockups for websites and similar.

That makes two of us that aren't that interested in web design. I keep thinking about it, but at this point, I'm not sure what I'd do with it. I have a website, that I do need to revamp, as it still has Flash on it, but no motivation there.

Well Figma is not just and app like adobe XD. If your main work would be UI/UX design and you only need vector files this app would be so usefull. I have done my thesis project with figma. you can easily upload video, GIFs, ... in your project. It gives you some of the vector tools to draw on the same app. Working with figma was so much easier that XD. I was against it till 2 years ago. Creating animation in Figma is so so so much easier that in XD. Give it a try. worth knowing basics even if your main projects are not web, or mobile app.

It is an environment to create an interesting presentations. PDF export would be a so heavy but if you wanna go to a meeting showing off your skills by an interesting presentation, this is a way to go.
