Does anyone know for certain if Denoise or RAW Details include sharpening?

I am trying to determine if either the new AI Denoise or the existing RAW Details include actual sharpening of the image? I know images appear somewhat sharper after Denoise processing, but it appears to me that it is a side effect of removing noise and not actually a sharpening of the image.
