Does Photoshop have a pen/sketchbook mode?
When I go into Illustrator with the pen/stylus, it recognizes the stylus and offers a simplified Penmode.
I really just want the option to use photoshop as a sketchbook like I can with AutoDesk Sketchbook that came preinstalled with the unit.
Windows store does not have Adobe Sketchbook for purchase/download and I can't find another adobe program that will act as a sketchbook.
Any Suggestions?

What are you talking about exactly?
Which features and output options do you expect of a »sketchbook«?

I guess more or less a minimalized "workspace" where the Layout enlarges when switched to this workspace/mode. Icouldn't think of the term to save my life, so I didn't even think to consider a custom "workspace" as an option. But if your using Illustrator on a device that has a touch screen with a compatible stylus (mainly Wacom options) Illustrator will recognize the stylus and automatically switch to touch mode. The first image is Touch Mode off. The second image is Touch Mode on.

I am not aware of such an automatic functionality in Photoshop.

Set up and save a custom workspace. You can also customise the Toolbar, and save that with the Workspace, so make your most used tools readily available. Perhaps make a custom brush folder with some useful presets, but you can just use a hard round brush for most of it.
Do you have a tablet? If yes, is pressure sensitivity working OK? that is pretty much a must if you are going to sketch with Photoshop.

Well, it's all about what brushes you use in photoshop. Kylie T. Webster makes the best brushes. Kyle T. Webster
Also if you have an iPad, there is adobe sketch where you can sketch then transfer your sketch to photoshop.

To all: Thank you for your time and consideration.
I stated in my most recent post "Icouldn't think of the term to save my life, so I didn't even think to consider a custom "workspace" as an option."
So, I appreciate the suggestion, but the idea was just a lapse in memory of terms. I've made custom workspaces, toolbars, and know how to customize menus. Even when I get these the way I need them, I can't get the Interface scaling to go up I need because I had to add and a "Custom Environmental Variable Value" because Illustrators default UI Size was way too big and didn't have a scaling option.
But in spite of this Variable Value, Illustrator still increases its UI size when in touch mode.
I was really just hoping for a similar Mode in PS that I could toggle where "Blip, Im in Touch Mode", all the toobars/workspaces are how I want them set... when in touch mode, and the UI automatically scales up. It's that toggle Im looking for that sets the program from a photo-editing/compositing setup to a Sketching-on-the-go setup
My stomach with hurt from laughing so hard at something so absurd if anyone says that Illustrator has the feature and PS doesn't. I mean seriously. Even if theres NOT a touch-mode, sketch-on-the-go toggle, there's got to be a master profile I could load that loads all desired presets, toolbars, workspaces, tool-presets, swatches, that I'd find practical for me sketch-on-the-go needs, all at once.
nickg28 - Thnx, will look when I get a chance. "The Sketch Arsenal" by ThatLD changed my life. So Im always on the look out for good tool presets.
