Does running PS 24.1.0 in Rosetta mode reduce PS's performance in an M1 Mac?

I recently upgraded my 2019 MBP to a Mac Studio M1 Pro Max.
Now my TinyPNG PS plugin is not working beacuse it's not ready to run on M1 Macs.
The plugin support team told me to run PS in Rosetta mode.
I did and the plugin works again, but will Rosetta mode reduce PS's performance in my M1 Mac?

In short, yes. There are trade offs running in Rosetta mode you are basically turning off the M1 chip and emulating an older Intel chip so it will be slower.

How much slower would you say? 5%, 10% ore 50%?
I mean, will I notice it enough to start thinking about stopping using the plugin?

I would. Depends on your workflow.

Alright. Thanks!
