Downloading PS for Win 8.1

I am taking an old laptop with me when I travel. I was trying to load PS but the OS is Win 8.1 and the current PS is not compatble. However, I can't find the earlier versions of PS with the idea of loading an older version so I can edit whilst traveling. Any suggestions?

As far as i can tell, Photoshop CC 2018 (version 19.x) is the latest version that runs on Windows 8.1

You can download the installer from here:

You clicked on the download link for either photoshop cc 2018 64 bit or 32 bit?

(64 bit if your win 8.1 is 64 bit)

Hi I managed to find a table with a set of download links and loaded the
64bit PS2018 further down the web page. So I downloaded ok. But after
running the file to install it I now get a pop up saying "Adobe Application
Manager missing or damaged. I tried the web link provided in the
message but it looks like it's no longer active.

Most likely you need to install the Creative Cloud Desktop Application compatible

with Windows 8 from here under Windows | Alternative downloads.

Thanks. But when I click on the link on the page (which says it's for 2018)
I get sent to
https://www.adobe.com/products/catalog.html?clickref=1101lwQ7hikn&mv=affiliate&mv2=pz&as_camptype=&as_channel=affiliate&as_source=partnerize&as_campaign=prodesigntools
and
when I click on PS I think it trys to upload the current version and I get
the Windows 10 required error.
