hallo,

Danke Jens

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the translation, but I'll give it a try. It sounds like you want to copy a layer from one file into another file.

If the two files are open but only one is visible, so that the tabs with the file names are in the upper left, like this:

clipboard_image_0.pngexpand image

With the Move tool, hold down on the pixels in the file you are copying from, or hold down on the layer itself in the Layers panel. Drag the pixels or layer to the name of the file you are copying into.

clipboard_image_1.pngexpand image

There may be a momentary hesitation so just keep holding down on the file name. The file you're copying into will come forward. When it does, move the cursor into the file and release the mouse.

If the files are both visible and side by side, you can simply drag from one file into the other either by holding down on the pixels or by holding down on the layer in the Layers panel that you want to copy.
