Drag Kyle's brushes into a brush preference folder

Hi all!

To me, the whole 'brushes' feature seems crappy organised. is it just me? I have tons of Kyle's brushes and other brushes.

First of all, I would expect a 'search' function somewhere - like 'pastels' or 'oil' or so and second, I would like to drag a brush into a project folder. A bit like a library, but then with brushes.

I know I can drag them from the brushes panel, but i have 100s of brushes and to actually find, test and then drag one simple brush into the folder I made for my project is, well, a drag.

I would really like to 'open all brushes' and be able to test them and drag them into my project folderso I sort of don't get lost all the time. Is there any solution to this? I tried and tried but it seems far from intuitive.

wouldn't it be great to drag from the left windo on the page to the right window?

So: yes, i can, in the right window, try to find a certain brush and drag it endlessly up into a folder but thsi should be easier somehow. who has a solution?

Thanx!

martin

Hi,

I'm using 2020. The brush is copying to the following location.

"/Users/user name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2020/Presets/Brushes/Kyle-s Brushes"

Appears in the Brush Panel menu. Just click on the brush set you want to use.

Hi Susuma! Thank you for your prompt reply!

Yeah, I understand. But my question is not about how to use brushes, it is about how to organise them when you have 100s... And for each work I'd like to have another folder with brushes to use...

Does creating a folder for classification with the 2020 Brushes Panel help you?

Hi Susumu!

Not really, I have many brushes and if I sceroll down to drag one in such a folder, and I'd try to find a next one, I get lost. Intuitively I click the right mouse button on a brush and expect something like 'add to' givning me an option to add it to a preference dfolder. But no, I have to drag forever to put it up in a folder and then scroll down forever again and hope to find where I was. Brushes don't always have clear names Screen Shot 2019-12-09 at 09.50.55.png

see image above: if i want to choose a brush I have to drag it up for a long long time, and then scroll down again and hope to find where I was. It's a nuicanse, really. No one of you guys have this problem?

Rightclicking just gives me these options:

But I want to add a brush to an existing group... A button 'add to group' would really make sense here.
