Dragging objects moves them to a random place

I just updated to the most recent version. I found that when I try to move any object through dragging and dropping, it ends up in a different position from when I let go. I turned off the snap option, but nothing changed. Basically, I can't position anything now without using arrow keys or setting the coordinates in Transform.

Hello, it would help us help you if you gave us some information about your setup, please post the contents of help>system info, so that we get to know your OS, its version, the exact version of Photoshop you are running, the date of the GPU driver, etc.

Also, are you using a graphic tablet, did you use the Wintab config file, or not?

  1. Turn off your graphics processor
  2. Quit and restart photoshop

It might be worth trying the legacy compositing switch on that preference panel (do reset the GPU before, and restart)
