Driver Power State Failure - Photoshop CC 2022

Hello everyone!

I started to have this issue with photoshop copple of days ago. Everytime that I open Photoshop, together with Google Chrome, I have his driver power state failure, and blue screen of death, photoshop just freeze and turn of the computer.

My drivers are all up to date, as is Windows. I changed all the power settings to maximum performance as well, I dont know what the problem could be, because I did everything that I found on the internet.

Please help!

I am have same problem in my HP Zbook 15 G4. I rollback driver, poer troubleshut and performance to max. My problem still exist then i open photoshop. This will not happening with any other adobe softwares.

Another thing to try is a system restore and rolling back?

Perform a CLEAN install of the GPU driver, if not already done so.
Unplug any extra devices if there are any - hard drives, monitor etc.
Power mode - try Balanced (not high)
Boot to Safe Mode in Windows… and see what happens.
Run System File Check - Corrupt or broken files can cause driver power state failure error. Luckily, Windows 10 has a built-in tool known as System File Checker that restores any faulty files in your system.

Hey Cory!

I tried that, as well as a bunch of other stuff, I rolled back to a previous version of windows on a clean reinstall, I just don't get what is wrong.

When I launch Photoshop without the GPU render, the error dosent happen, but I can't use Photoshop properly.

Hi @Guilherme Herodeck, after checking with the team, this sounds like a hardware failure issue. We are not able to help with this as it appears to be computer based... It might be helpful to try this and see what is shows:

Yes I did, and ran into the same problem, I also tried a older version of the nvidia drivers, and same thing, the problem still there.
I just did a clean Windows reset now, and the issue is still happening.
