Dual monitor on Photoshop refresh rate

Hi

I want to illustrate a figure using Photoshop, and record my dual screen while doing it- but I noticed that the changes are updated only AFTER making a brush strokes- and not while doing it (as it's shown on the workspace itself) causing it to look like a slow motion video.

Is there a way to improve this?

Or, is there another option for me to see the entire canvas, while working on it in a different window, keeping it to the full scale?

If you are using two views of your document you should see that how the feature works, The second view get the brush after you completed in the active view you are working its a second image window that is has a second view of the document you are working on. The stroke need to be applied to the document before Photoshop can render the second view in the inactive window.  While you are making the stroke in the active window you are more or less seeing a preview of the stroke being made on a portion of the zoomed scaled image the stroke being made on.  Until the stroke is applied to the actual document. Photoshop can not render the second view zoom scaled image.

Thank you!

Is there an alternative way to display full scale workspace, while working on it zoomed? Throughout another app, even?

An other application would be worse.  It could not update what it display till you save over the source of your open document in Photoshop.  Photoshop is not a file editor it a document editor which is updated in Photoshop memory in data structures all over the places that Photoshop maintains,  Photoshop blends all the visible layer and renders a scale view of your image so you can work on. An other application can not address data in Photoshop address space.
