Hello,
I keep getting this error message "All ink colors must be specified" while adjusting ink curves in Duotone options in Photoshop 2023. What am I missing?

Hi,

You didn't specify the color "white", did you?
"White" must be specified as "H: 0, S: 0, B: 100" or "R: 255, G: 255, B: 255".

Hello! I'm getting an "all ink colors must be specified" message when I hit ok to apply my duotone options. I also specified white like how you suggested but I'm still getting this message. What else am I missing?

I'm still at "What am I missing?"  I named it white; it has the designated colors. Still, the same error of all ink colors must be specified.

I am also getting "All ink colors must be specified" even though I've chosen both colors and named them.

Screenshot of the error while the duotone interface is open please.

What version of Photoshop?

Is the colour a Pantone colour from a colour book or the Pantone Connect extension?

What about the transfer curves?

I'm having the same problem. Trying to duotone a greyscale image with a specific black (f191919) and white.

You will first need to set the white as "non-pure", such as 255r255g254b (or 0h0s99b or 100L0a1b) then you will be able to OK the white colour without error. Afterwards, you can go back and edit the colour to pure white.

I have followed all the instructions on here and, like EVERYBODY else, I'm STILL getting the errors - please can we get the RIGHT answer about this from Adobe - it's not too much to ask, is it?
