Duplicate brush groups

I have duplicates of brush groups. I assume it is ok to just delete the duplicates but I'm puzzled as to how this happened?

You can delete these groups, I think you don't need to make any thing else.
That is intead of Uninstall the app and reinstall it after cleaning files so, delete these groups and it will be OK :).

It may happened because you updated the app without deleting the previous version preferences.
