Hello Community,

If i open a Picture via LR in PS and edit it, i save it only whit "Save" to export it back to LR, right?

But how I change the setting, so it exports the picture not as a TIFF, but as a JPG?

Please help me 😔😟

Thanks in advance!

First, you must use the "Edit in Photoshop" command for this round trip to work (IOW, LR to PS> saved back to LR).

What is saved and how is all configured in your preferences. Found in LRs preferences>External Editor.

Your options are TIFF, PSD or JPEG.

Hey, thanks dir the fast reply! These are the Lightroom Classic settings right? But does this setting also exist in the other Lightroom?

I think you are talking about Lightroom classic. I use Lightroom without the "Classic".

How is it there? Can I find this setting in the Lightroom I'm using?

In Lightroom Classic I found the setting (see picture), but I can't find it in the other Lightroom.

You can't set this in Lightroom desktop ("the other Lightroom"). Lightroom desktop will always use TIFF.
