Edit Content of Multiple Text Layers

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make multiple text layers and layer them on top of each other to make a shadow-like effect. However, I need to replicate this for multiple text contents.

For example, I create a design with the word "Hello" and I might want to change it to "How are you doing." Right now, what I need to do is change all layers one by one. However, is there a way that I can just change one layer and change the content across all layers?

Also, I'm currently using Photoshop CC 2020.

Thank you so much!

Hi

You could convert the layer to a smart object

Hello,

So sorry but what would I need to do after that? Should I make all layers into a smart object and link them?

Convert one Type Layer to a Smart Object, then duplicate and transform that as necessary.

Opening the SO, editing the text and saving the SO will cause all the instances in the containing document to update.
