Edit in problem

I have lightroom cc classic installed along with photoshop and other 3rd party photo editing software. when I go to edit in either from the top bar or right click all my options are grayed out including photoshop. I can not go between editing. This is a new PC running windows 10.

Hi,

What I have understand from your concern is that you aren't able to use Edit option on your top/menu bar.

You can go through below article to resolve this error:

'Edit In Photoshop' command missing

Or you can try with option of uninstalling with help of Adobe CC cleaner tool( Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems )and installing it again.

No my edit in command is there, and when I select it I can see all my Stuff

like Photoshop cc and other 3rd party apps I use, but they are grayed out.

I cannot select them.

If you are getting error like this then :

First, check that you have selected an image that is not offline. If you use Smart Previews in Lightroom with an external editor(External editors require the original file. You likely have your files on an external hard drive that isn't plugged in. Try plugging in your drive and see if it starts working again), then you may not notice this, but Lightroom cannot send a smart preview to an external editor. Check update of your graphic driver

If that is not what causes this, try restarting your computer.
