Editing a photoshop file using notepad

Is it possible to edit a photoshop file using notepad like changing text I was opening my happy new year photoshop file and it shows me like this 

here you can see that there is Happy New Year now if i change that happy new year to something else and when i opened that ps file it shows me error

You can't edit a binary PSD file as a text file. As you have seen, you damage the file.

 

You have to open the file in Photoshop, find the Happy New Year text layer, select it and modify the "Happy New Year" font using the Type Tool. Commit the change using the checkmark in the top Option bar, save and close the file.
