Editing text/fonts in Photoshop

Is there a way to edit things such as text length, curves etc. in Photoshop for iPad like it is in the desktop version? I've been looking for tutorials online on customizing font but it always pertains to the desktop version.

In Photoshop for Mobile, you have access to certain text properties when you select a text layer and open the properties panel:

Font, Font size, tracking, leading, baseline shift, vertical and horizontal scale, color, auto leading, and the character faux attributes like all caps, superscript, etc.

What does not exist is the capability to warp text, or the ability to convert text to paths and manipulate the path. Also, while I have heard that alternate glyphs are available, I've not been able to find how to bring up character alternates on the iPad. So, in summary, basic text formatting, yes. Advanced text manipulation and customization, no - you have to swing over to Photoshop on the desktop for that.
