Enable SVG in photoshop

Hi 

I am trying to save a file as SVG but it deos not give me the option in the toggle box. PNG, JPG or GIF only.

I watched on yotube and tried to go into export preferences to check the use legacy box. 

That is not apearing on my screen ?

 

Files included the one with the box is the youtube mine is the one without. the third is what im looking at on my display.

 

What am I doing incorrectly ?

    You need to run photoshop 2023 using Rosetta as described in the following video.

    Just substitute 2023 for 2022.

    AFAIK, such layer should be vector only.

    I tried and added a Shape — it produced a shape layer.

    I right-clicked that layer and chose Export As...

    SVG is available... (W10  PS v24.4.1)
