Eraser lagging. Eraser tool not erasing where I'm going over when I go over it.

Which Eraser Tool are you using?

Can you post a screenshot showing Photoshop including the Eraser Tool settings, tools panel, layers panel , etc?

I successfully tried this and my eraser still has the same problem as before. It just won't erase with precision and is so laggy/glitchy 😕😕

In Mac Finder hold the Option key when accessing the Go Menu - the user Library will appear and you can navigate from there.

I'im trying to do that right now but the corrections aren't clear and I can't figure out how to do it. It says

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.
