Eraser tool in Photoshop

Hello guys!

I have such a question:

When I choose the eraser tool it automatically chooses a soft round brush, but when I change it to a hard brush it changes to the brush tool.

Do u have any idea why that happens? I started the laptop but it still does.

Solved! I did a prereset of the brush set.

The presets can include a specific brush and color if the creator of the brush chose to include them. You may know that you can use the square bracket key [ ] to change the brush size. If you add Shift, you can change the hardness by 25% with each tap. Or you can use the dropdown in the options bar.

 

You can override the brush assignment. I think it's Ctrl+click the brush preset, (but it might be Alt.)
