My older Mac Pro died. I got a new Mac mini and loaded everything on it from my Time Machine backup. Now I am getting an Error 6 message from my Photoshop CS4. Anyone know how to fix this? I can't find my product key for my original purchase of CS4.

You can try a License Repair by using a provided Terminal Script. I've seen a lot of good feedback, so why not give it a go?

Just carefully review and understand the steps involved.

No dice. A reinstall cannot be avoided. A backup simply does not include any activation data, even if the software were functional otherwise. It is questionable whether CS4 will run properly on current versions of OSX, anyway, so whichever way you see it, you need a plan B which most likely will include some form of signing up for Creative Cloud, be that just the photography plan as the most cost-efficient variant (assuming you realyl only need and use PS).
