Error at loading of ippCV library in Photoshop

Photoshop version 22.2

Error, as the title.

My old PC worked fine with version 21 & 22 installed. An auto update took place over the last 48 hours and now V22.2 won't open and V21 is not available to roll back to?

Please advise, full error in screenshot, discovered this morning, all other apps work fine.

V24 is NOT installed as it is not compatible.

Your buildin CPU isn't compatible with the newer version of Photoshop. Please deinstall your Photoshop version by using the Creative Desktop Client and disable the automatic installation of updates.

Unfortunately Adobe has removed older versions from their public sites for downloding. The only chance you have is to contact the Adobe support to get ask for a download link for older installations files.

To contact support follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
2. On the page that opens up, it should automatically open a chat popup. If that doesn't happen look for a call out/chat icon at the bottom right. Click it and the chat popup should open.
3. To talk to a human type "AGENT" in the chat box.
4. If you are not able to get to the chat window, disable your adblockers and/or firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

But I've got the info, that Adobe no longer will supply CC2020, 2021 installers via Support channels. I would try anyway to contact the support.

If that failed you get older version only via How to Get Direct Download Links for All Adobe Software  ProDesignTools

But there are older versions only up to version CC2019 available.

Have just spoken to "support" and they state they cannot give to access to v21 as it is discontinued.

I then asked for their suggestion to solve this issue for me. a paying subscriber and they then closed the chat without an answer?!

Unreal...I for one will NOT be renewing!

The ability to rollback is not available as it has removed the older versions since the update...

I understand your frustration, but this is an Adobe decision. This is a public forum and we are normal users just like you.

It's right that you can't rollback more then one version back via the CC client. But you can download older version on ProDesignTools: Helping Adobe® Users Since 2009.  Many thanks to jim @ prodesigntools.com for providing the older versions.

Unfortunately, this is only possible up to version 2019 : All the New Adobe CC 2019 Direct Download Links, Now Available! | ProDesignTools

But I think that's at least something and you can use Photoshop as long as you change your hardware to a newer one.

If you want to use this option I'll recommend to save the download files on an USB stick, hard drive or CD/DVD, but it isn't sure how long these links are available.

Followed the links and installed v20.1 which worked perfecto for my needs.

Have saved to USB as advised just incase.
